the ron supremacy

i had the narrowest of escapes today, well not so narrow as i had it all planned beforehand, still it never hurts being a bit melodramatic. one of the bigshots here had come down to grace us with whatever. here's what happened. in an attempt to pull the "object oriented junta" to attend the chap's speech the company went ahead and arranged a breakfast followed by his speech to sleep it off. as plans go, this was a pretty good effort on the co's part i would say. but even the best-laid plans have chinks in them - the chink here being an unguarded gate in the premises which in addition to being the prime point of entrance also showed its caliber by doubling up as a medium of unobtrusive exit. and yeah, i couldn't resist the carrot ;-) a better man would probably have left the whole thing alone but then these better people miss a lot of stuff.

the joy one experiences when one, through adroit manoeuvres, manages to wiggle out of a situation which others who were equally aware of the imminent danger were unable to avoid, is pretty sublime. the only blemish in this case is a few perverts who actually enjoyed the whole thingummy. ah... well as my mom says, "it takes all sorts to make the world". however there were others whose misery was enough to bring the roses back to my cheeks. am i some kind of sadist or something!!!
