sincerity
how much sincerity towards work is too much sincerity? now before people start making protesting sounds or dishing out them suggestive discreet coughs, let me clarify that this is not about me :-)
our office was shifted to this new campus and i am beginning to wonder if the housekeeping here isnt a tad too zealous in keeping the house. i started thinking about this today when i made a visit to the loo. i had sort of opened the door and stepped inside the loo and was about to close the door when i found that i wasnt alone! there was this chap standing next to me with a sort of sheepish smile! i dont know if u have ever entered a loo and had somebody sort of come along u know, just to keep u company or something... but if u have, and didnt find the experience disconcerting, then all i can say is that u r a better person than i, for i found the whole ordeal a bit trying on the nerves. i dont claim that my whole life passed in front of my eyes, but i did start wondering whether its just me, or has this kind of thing become the norm! well i was abt to give him a to-what-am-i-indebted-the-honour-of-this-visit routine when i noticed him holding a roll of toilet paper, which he proceeded to wordlessly change.
now this too was a new experience for me! i mean, i thought such stuff were done when the booths are sort of empty but no doubt the guy had his reasons, probably an approaching deadline or something. and i guess it was this that rendered me sort of confused and not properly appreciative of the guys determination to leave no paper roll unchanged. and to this confusion i attribute the dumb way in which i looked on as he left closing the door. but in my defence i must say that i did murmur a thank u some time after the door closed. hmmm... i begin to understand the word proactive.

i also must add that our silent screamer's yahoo id is highly suspicious, which makes me question who it was exactly doing the luring...
